Kalamoir Park HAS BEEN SAVED

Kalamoir Park is a local gem. It is designated as a Regional District Conservation Park. There are not many parks that have this important designation.

To the Residents of Casa Loma

Thank all of you for your support keeping Kalamoir Park the conservation park it is.

This was a very special project for the Casa Loma Community and all of West Kelowna.

The decision by the RDCO followed the guidelines set when Kalamoir Park was transferred to the Regional District form the Province of BC. It stated, "In 1983 Kalamoir is gifted with the provision that it remain a conservation park”.

Kalamoir Park will not become a major Active Transportation Corridor. Mayor Milsom recommended the Trails of the Okanagan bike route tfollow the Wine Trail on Boucherie Rd.

Over the next couple of years, Kalamoir Park will undergo trail upgrades for ease of mobility and safety concerns. There will also be increased parking. No staring day has been set.

Happy Trails

Thank you

Mayor Milsom

Thank you for making a difficult decision in the best interest of West Kelowna.

Kalamoir Park is a conservation park and with the support you have shown, it remains to be one.
